160 Wheelbarrow Loads!

That was our summer project- a sand box around our play set. The sand was dumped a month ago (see pictures below), and it took lots of hours & lots of Daddy's muscles to transport it up the hill into its proper place (Irene didn't help:-)!The truck was supposed to come at 9... but I heard the air brakes at 7am, and told Selah to go wake up the sleeping boys (Hannah nicely slept through it all!)...
2 pajama-clad boys, both showing excitement in their own darling ways...I didn't catch his name (his accent was thick), but he was the kindest truck driver I've ever met. He saw the excitement of the kids, and took time, personally with each one, to give them an experience they won't quickly forget. After he left, Selah kept commenting on how kind he was and surmized that, "he must love Jesus because he was soooo kind!"Isaiah's turn in the big truck... pulling the air horn (our poor neighbors) and operating the lift...
Nervous- a bit, but proud and excited as can be...The first falling sand...Notice the play set in the background (UPHILL!)
Judah's turn, even getting to feel the plush sand...Selah's turn, and she did the most operating the the controls...More sand, and more sand!Whoa!Good-bye, thank-you, good-bye!Yeah, it's ok to get your pajamas dirty... just this once!
That should be enough sand to last years and years...
