Happy Birthday, Our Little Man!

Isaiah turned two just last week. Wow! They were a fast two years! And I'm thankful for the invention of cameras, or much of those two years would have been forgotten in the blur...

We hosted a construction birthday party with Duane's family...

So, our little man, you're growing up so fast. We adore your goofy ways and your ability to always make us smile. We will continue to pray that your will would be molded into the image of Christ, our Savior. Follow in Jesus' footsteps, and call to others to join you, proclaiming to our lost world the meaning of your name: "God is my Salvation."

Another Day of Water Fun

OK, here's the last of vacation pictures... another day spent at the indoor water park... this time with our friends Dave, Michelle & Julia...

Sledding & Hot Cocoa

We even brought along our sleds on vacation, counting on some snow in the mountains. We weren't disappointed!

Yes, Mommy was pretty helpless (do they even make snow pants that fit big bellies?), but at least I could take pictures...

And then we headed back to our 'home' for the kids' first experience with hot chocolate (I think they liked it)!

Water park with Cousins

Another highlight of our vacation was the indoor water park! Kiddie pool, wave pool, splash fort with slides, water tube rides, and more. The weather outside was frightful, but inside balmy with palm trees and swimsuit clad kids...(some of the cutest shown below)...

This 'getting-more-mature-by-the-minute' girl just loves babies, especially cousin Asher...

Pure excitement! At least for Selah...Duane gets nauseous every time, but that's how much he loves his kids! (And Mommy was banned from all the rides:-( )

Even Judah was able to try the water tube ride. But just once, since he wasn't technically tall enough and a kind lifeguard let him...

And Duane offered to sit with Isaiah so Isaiah could have a nap...hmmm...right (I don't think Isaiah shut his eyes once, but he must have been calm enough to let his Daddy get his nap)!

The Best Part of Vacation was...

...Daddy Time!!!

Daddy for crafts, Daddy for the pool, Daddy for reading books, Daddy for nighttime devotions, Daddy for sledding, Daddy for breakfast, Daddy for lunch, Daddy for supper, Daddy for all the snacks in-between, Daddy for Chutes 'N' Ladders, Daddy for Candy Land, Daddy for the water park... In fact, Isaiah was having withdrawal symptoms when he woke up from his nap yesterday, only to realize that Daddy had gone back to work!
