The Last of our Michigan Trip (V)

One of our last days in Michigan we were all together- first the group picture, then the 'hamburgs & 7-layer salad',  even a mission presentation and gift-opening for all the cousin birthdays.

Michigan Trip IV

Another day we visited Grand Rapids, touring downtown during their famed ArtPrize show.  Here our girls are posing by the Grand River with one of the top ten art entries galloping through the water...

Here was one of my favorites, a giant dandilion.  There were hundreds of entries, each with their own story to tell...

Then we went to visit friends, the Dedert and Beeke families.  Here our kids are waiting for their friends to arrive...

Visiting MI has always been primarily to visit family, but it's sure nice to have our friends in town as well!

Michigan Trip III

One of our mornings we visited Binder Park Zoo with all the kids not in school.


Even Hannah has to get her peek at whatever creature was being observed...

Some of the big cats were very active and visible up close...

The goat petting zoo was a highlight for all the kids...
