Vacationing with Cousins!

We spent a couple days last week vacationing with Duane's family...
...that means 9 little ones, ages 4 and under!

The thrill of the water slide... over and over and over again!

Every few minutes we needed a break from the chilly water...

Duane & his brothers went golfing, and when they reached the hole near our building...

"Me do it!!" (teaching theirs sons the art)

While we were waiting for the daddies to finish golfing, Wendy & I walked down to the activity center. At one point in our walk, with kids in tow, I commented, "I wonder what people think- they probably think the kids are all ours."

Very blonde moment... then it hit me- they all ARE ours!!!

The very sight of them is enough to make anyone exhausted (or get a sore back- or a stiff neck:-)), but oh what fun we have!

Going Bald Rascal!!

USUALLY, I can trust my oldest three while I manage to find some time to take a shower. Usually. But not yesterday.
I guess they decided he needed it, or perhaps the scissors were out for another naughty reason...

...but that beautiful curlish hair is now in my central vac canister, and the rest of my morning was spent in buzzing off the rest of his hair.

And now he no longer looks innocent but every bit the rascal that he really is!!
(But today I still miss that curlish mop!!)

First Summer Swim
