After beginning the year in God's House and a lunch with friends, we headed to the local hill for sledding.

The hill was so slippery that we literally had to put on the brakes to avoid crunching into a fence at the bottom- see my foot applying the brakes?
Our kids had so much fun that we had to try it again the next week. (Not that our back hill doesn't lead to some great sledding, but these hills were much longer.)
