Sandy Pines, here we come! (July Vacation I)

OK, so the blog posts are long overdue.  But school is started, we're into our 3rd week.  Summer is almost over.  It feels like autumn already.  Shall we review our sunny, vacation days?  Get ready for a bunch of vacation posts-I tried to wean out the pictures- but there were just too many captured memories to share...

The water slide is easily a hit at 'Sandy'...
(Hannah calls it the 'wee-wee'- I guess because you say 'weeee' as you go down?!)

Selah about to plunge into the pool...

Judah trying to gain speed...

But the most special part of our 'Sandy' portion of our vacation was spending time with family.  My brother Brian and family were also visiting from South Africa and shared the condo with us.  Here Hannah is holding cousin Micah for the first time... (isn't he a beautiful boy?)

And Aunt Nicole joined us for several special days before their wedding in Canada.  Here Tim had just purchased a balloon inscribed with 'I Love you' in 100 languages, was it?

We arrived on the 4th of July, just in time to enjoy Sandy's spectacular firework display over the lake...

It's finally getting dark, when are the fireworks coming?

"Wow!" Independence is something worth celebrating!

Selah clocked in several hours of holding this adorable 'doll' of a cousin...

And the kids soaked in the attention from Grandpa & Grandma...

Grandpa with his 2 two-year-old girlies...

We even were able to 'steal' Krista for a day while Brian & Lanae were packing.  Here's Hannah & Krista, born 2 months apart, sharing a sweet treat...

Sandy Pines & ice cream kind of go together...

Posing after a romp in the playground...

Love the toes!

How about this for a photo op?

Two girlies giggling and playing copy-cat...

Shhh!  We're sleeping!
