Now that a couple of my friends (and their growing families) have moved back to MI, it has become a MI tradition to spend some time all together. And what better place than Sandy Pines?

It takes lots of guts for one so young to attempt the daring feat of walking along a rope suspended high in the clouds...
Kara with Calvin and baby Emilee. It was a treat to witness Calvin doing so well. We're proud of you, little buddy!
Baby Emilee belongs to the daddy on the left below- my cousin Dave visiting from BC whose family we got to enjoy all week...
Three daddies lined up with their little ones on the slide. Hannah (in Duane's arms) never tired from the slide. She wanted to go again and again and again and again... well, long after we had tired from going down!
This year Judah can swim- well, barely swim. He can do a fierce 'doggy paddle' and not panic while almost submerged under water. So even though he didn't reach the height requirement, the life guards let him go down the big orange slide by himself (which saved us lots of trips since Isaiah & Hannah still need to be accompanied).
But this is what he looks like swimming his way to the stairs. Absolutely no fear. And he needed several 'rescues' from drowning. But determined he was.
