The First Thanksgiving Celebration

In honor of the first Thanksgiving we again dressed up as 'Pilgrims and Indians'. In our family, Duane and Hannah represented the Pilgrims while I, Selah and the boys were dressed as Indians. (Hannah was sleeping in the picture below).
The celebration was such fun, especially since we have recently been studying Columbus, Jamestown, Native Americans and the Pilgrims. For a great book, read "Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving" by Eric Metaxa.
Aren't these little pilgrims, squaws and braves adorable!!!
