Last Week's White Blanket

Early last week a beautiful, thick white blanket covered the barren landscape, much to the delight of our home's inhabitants. Below is Duane playing with his new toy the morning after the snow storm (at least a foot of snow, which is nothing to wink at in our area)...
And out we all went. This year is the first year that Selah could really appreciate the fun of snow- able to go sledding on her own, make snowmen, walk or roll in the powder. Judah is still getting over the 'hold-my-hand, helpless-when-falling-down' stage of bulky snow suits and thigh-high snow piles. And Isaiah- well, he enjoyed eating the snow- but I'm afraid he spent much of his time doing this... trying to get up!!
And here's Isaiah's first experience sledding...

Our hills in the backyard are also PERFECT for sledding!
Snow blower, lawn mower- both the same, right?
