Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We spent a very full and blessed day with family today with lots of feasting, fellowship and fun. It was somebody's idea (Carol?) to have the children dress up in memory of the first Thanksgiving feast, with Pilgrims and Indians (Native Americans).
Here's Tia hamming it up in her Indian outfit...

Isaiah enjoying the whole dress-up idea...

Selah, an Indian princess with her papoose, Susie, tied to her back...

Two Pilgrims, Judah & Jacob, out for a stroll...

All the Pilgrims and Indians at our feast (minus Ezra who was napping)...

One little, two little, three little Indians...

Silas the Indian and Boden the Pilgrim, enjoying a cousinly hug...

Two pilgrims, Judah and Justus, enjoying a cute moment...

The youngest Thanksgiving couple... a bit unsure about all the fuss...

The weather was beautiful for playing outside...

In Grandpa's wagon there's always room for one more...

With many guests, we had many tasty dishes for our feast...

One very full plate...yum, delicious!
Playing games...
Judah trying on Selah's headpiece for Isaiah's admiration...
One very exhausted Indian girl...

Hope you all had a wonderful day!
"Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations." Psalm 100:3-5
And a wonderful day it was! Thanks for sharing your picture-story of just a few of the things with which God has blessed us all. He is good.
