Daddy's lap is still big enough! We are all getting over hopefully the last cold of the season. Nothing serious, just snotty noses, empty tissue boxes, a bit more tears, and lingering coughs. On such days we count our blessings with thanksgiving that our kids have no major illnesses and we remember in prayer those parents who deal with special needs or chronically ill children daily.
We also had a great foretaste of coming summer months- it was up to 94 degrees for a few days in NJ, so out came the new summer outfits (of course last year's don't fit). Thanks to Grandma R. we were all prepared!
