Time to Catch up... May was...

I know!  These pictures are almost a year old, but since I use my blog as my scrapbook, I need to begin again where I left off.  So here we are in May of last year... enjoy!

May was... a field day at our home schooling co-op.  But I captured so many great shots that you'll have to wait for a future post to see the rest...

May was also enjoying our growing kittens.  We decided to keep 2 of that litter... Misty and Shady...

 May was a little boy's first hair cut...

 May was waiting outside, soaking up the warm, and waiting for Daddy to come home from work to play with us...

 May was giving Daddy his father's day gift a bit early...

 May was climbing a short tree, falling from that tree onto a sharp rock, bleeding all over the ground, and taking a trip to visit the ER and receive 2 shiny staples in this little girl's head...

 May was finishing our study of Ancient Greece and celebrating with a Greek feast, Greek costumes and Greek plays...

 Nuts, eggs, cheese, melon, bread, fish...pretty healthy diet, huh?

April Was...

...School with no interruptions.  As we studied ancient history and an overview of the Old Testament, we also celebrated the Jewish Passover.  Here Hannah is washing her hands before the Passover meal...

Selah's turn.  It seems we take pictures of the beginning of the feast and forget to capture the rest of the events...

April was a newborn growing into a little boy, sitting so proudly next to his Grandma...

April was some lovely visits with some of Duane's staff.  What a blessing to have coworkers who also love the same Lord!

April was our quirky little five-year-old learning to ride a 2-wheeler... Yeah, Isaiah!

Legos and bikes- I'm not sure what activity consumes more of their free time, but our boys LOVE them both...

I'm going to miss this tree.  Funny how I can get attached to trees.  But every house I've lived in has certain favorite trees I've learned to appreciate...

April was scrambling to get the house ready for yet another showing, packing the kids in the van, making sure the kittens are in the garage and racing out before another realtor and potential buyers went through our home.  Here the kids are proudly showing their balloon creations from a restaurant outing during a showing...

Duane and I do not do roller coasters.  Something about age and equilibrium and nausea.  But after Grandma and our three oldest patiently stood in line for quite some time anticipating a roller coaster ride, and then were told their age each needed an accompanying adult... well, what would you do if your little boys are about to burst into tears because there's only 1 Grandma and 3 of them? (You can look closely at the picture to discover what we did!)
